New Design Center & Sales Office Location

We have moved our on-site design center and sales office to a Hudson model suite on the 3rd floor, suite 301. This is the first time we’ve shown a finished Hudson floor plan. It is unique because of its corner views of the downtown skyline, with amazing natural light due to its southwestern exposure in the Great Room.

This amazing condo has two bedrooms plus a library, two bathrooms and boasts 1,650 square feet of living space. Including a single parking space (a second space is available for purchase), the price is $414,950, which includes $13,710 in built-in upgrades and $96,387 in tax savings over 12 years. Thanks to these low ownership costs, it compares favorably in cost to renting an apartment in the ± $1500 per month price range (and what apartment provides quality and amenities like 17 Chapel?). Other models are available starting at $333,200.

The 4th floor Hudson is already under contract, meaning this is only one left. So if you’re in the market or know someone who is, don’t miss this opportunity! And if you’re just curious and would like to see another finished luxury condo in Albany, we welcome you to stop in anyway.

Stop by and see us every Tuesday and Thursday 12-3 or Sundays 12:30-4, or contact us for an appointment.

Watching The Monroe Rise
Category: Construction,General,Sales — 2:41 pm

Across the street from 17 Chapel, The Monroe Apartments in Downtown Albany are now under construction and according to an article in The Business Review, are expected to be ready in August 2012.

The Monroe Apartments in Albany, NY

The Monroe 3-20-12

This photo, taken from Suite 304 at 17 Chapel, shows The Monroe under construction in the framing stages. A rendering of the finished product is shown on the Capitalize Albany website. The building will have 43 loft-style apartments ranging from 900 to 1,800 square feet and include hardwood floors, granite counters and washer/dryers.

Whereas 17 Chapel buyers get to take direct advantage of the tax incentives for renovated buildings, The Monroe is a rental property, which offers its own advantages to downtown dwellers. We’re pleased to see more downtown neighbors and some wonderful alternatives for living in downtown Albany.
